A. Shahid Stover is a hidden gem in the field of philosophy. He is an avant-garde African-American writer/philosopher/social critic and editor-in-chief of The Brotherwise Dispatch. Stover’s first work, Hip Hop Intellectual Resistance deals with intellectual engagement and Hip Hop aesthetics as Black cultural resistance to Empire. He is known as one of the most formidable existential philosophers and Black radical intellectuals writing outside of the academic establishment.
