A Brief Bio
Professor Claude-Hélène Mayer was born in Germany and later moved to South Africa. She passionately researchers transcultural mental health and well-being, salutogenesis, transforming shame, transcultural conflict management and mediation, women in leadership in culturally diverse work contexts, love and psychobiography and she has over 400 publications to her name. Claude-Hélène lectures on Industrial and Organisational Psychology at the University of Johannesburg. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, and a Senior Research Associate at Rhodes University, South Africa. Claude-Hélène holds Master degrees in Psychology, Crime Science, Investigation and Intelligence, and Cultural Anthropology. She holds PhDs in Psychology, Management, and Cultural Anthropology. Her German Venia Legendi is in Psychology with focus on work, organizational, and cultural psychology.
